Job Description GENERAL DESCRIPTION Responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams along with maintain and keep updated Bid data hardware and data structure. Design and keep data standardization, Red Lake and Data Warehouse (JuP1 Central Data Base). PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Create, integrate and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business and management requirements. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, propose re-designing of data and infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Build, design and review the data structure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data' technology. Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics. Work with others stakeholders within Robert Bosch including Management, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data requirements needs. Keep our data separated, safe and secure for only the right personnel scope. Support for data analysts and scientist team members to assist them in building and optimizing our product to become an innovative industry leader. Design and maintain JuP1 data warehouse and data lake structure Apply Data Management guidelines and regulations to ensure Data Governance. Qualifications EDUCATION & ACADEMIC BACKGROUND Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 2 years of experience in data engineering roles or 3+ years of experience in software development roles. Bilingual (Spanish and Advanced English) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Must Have: Proficient at least one of the programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java. Oracle, Microsoft SQL and Hadoop database management, CRUD operations, query and database design. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders. Nice to Have: Candidates with expertise in big data technologies like Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and Apache Airflow and streaming data using frameworks like Apache Flink will have an added advantage. General knowledge on manufacturing systems. 1+ years of experience working with containers like Docker.
