MEXICO CITY BASED POSITION


RN MOTION is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager (Mid-level) with proven experience in creative project management to nurture existing client relationships. This individual should be capable of expanding the client base horizontally within the same company across various regions and categories. Demonstrating a commitment to long-term growth and development within the organization will significantly contribute to your success.

This position demands flexibility, strong responsiveness, and the ability to assume various roles as required by different project scopes and needs. Exceptional organizational skills are essential. It is an excellent fit for individuals enthusiastic about collaborating with a multicultural array of brand managers representing global brands. The role may involve occasional travel to key US, Latin America, and Europe locations. Your primary work base will be in Mexico City at rn motion's offices.

Job Description:

The Account Manager translates client briefings into clear, actionable steps, ensures the smooth development of visual and audiovisual marketing materials by briefing designers and video artists, and establishes effective communication with Project Managers, Accounting, and Procurement.

As the agency's single point of contact for customers, the Account Manager relies on Talent Operations to coordinate the resources required for project delivery, develop strategic operational plans, and balance client expectations with the execution of creative work. They are expected to develop a financially sound business portfolio and play a positive role in rn motion's client acquisition program by using networking for prospecting and referrals.


This position reports to the rn motion's Account Director.


GROSS Salary

27,000 – 29,000 MXN


If you live in other states of Mexico, you are supported with relocation expenses.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE POSITION


Client Communication and Understanding

  • Maintain regular communication and liaison with clients.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the clients' business, including market trends, key competitors, and other factors impacting their business.
  • Manage client expectations, efficiently communicate project-related issues or costs, and lead briefing meetings with the team to devise strategic creative approaches.
  • Cooperate and negotiate with other client consultants, including client agencies and external consultants.
  • Interpret and organize client feedback, working with the Accounts Director to define a course of action.
  • Lead debriefing sessions using up-to-date brand information on challenges and expectations.


Project Management and Efficiency:

  • Efficiently manage rounds of changes from internal stakeholders or clients, minimizing rework and unnecessary revisions.
  • Ensure each project has assigned approvers and executors (PACE).


Sales and Client Relationship Building:

  • Take responsibility for client renewal and year-over-year program growth.
  • Build trustworthy relationships with client contacts, fostering a creative partnership.


Controls and Reporting:

  • Ensure every project has a purchase order or contract in place.
  • Timely project closure and invoicing.
  • Provide clear reports by collaborating with the project management team.

  • Exhibits passion for operational discipline, evidenced by the right execution of internal & external processes.
  • Communicates clearly and enables constructive conversations that impact creativity.
  • Supervises and guards pricing in every request for proposal/project quotation.
  • Delivers strong results vs. year ago, effectively using its internal support network and leveraging clients' partnerships.
  • Detects any invoicing risk involving the monthly goal amount, cancellation of projects, significant objections, or client complaints, and reverses the negative impact on the group's performance.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in advertising, Marketing, Design, or creative industries.
  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand management or agency work is desired.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is ideal.
  • Possession of a valid passport and availability for international travel (US, Mexico, Latin America, Europe).
  • Essential familiarity with creative industries, including graphic design, industrial design, 3D animation, and video production processes.
