We are currently seeking a Finance Analyst to become a member of our Mexico City team. Miyamoto International is among the nation's fastest growing structural engineering companies. Responsibilities

· Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs.

· Processing/handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.

· Conduct reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledger.

· Monitor bank accounts transactions and complete bank reconciliations monthly.

· Assist with month-end and year-end closing for accounts payable.

· Provide year-end support of auditor requirements, which may include research and reconcilement.

· Assist with special projects as requested on as-needed basis.

· Ensure all vendor/consultant invoices are recorded and processed in a timely manner.

· Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.

· Setting up new vendor and maintaining up-to-day records.

· Set-up and process online payments via bank wire/ACH/transfers.

· Review and approve vendor/consultant payments.

· Verify and investigate discrepancies for vendor/consultant accounts.

· Collaborate with other team members/departments to support financial reporting.

· Perform month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

· Assist with miscellaneous projects as required by team leaders



Minimum Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance

·  3+ years of accounting or finance experience

· Proven accounting experience

·  Knowledge of cash and accrual accounting methods

·  Knowledge of financial/graphs preparation, month end close/reconciliation, revenue recognition, and budgeting

·  Project Accounting experience preferred (Experience in Arquitecture, Engineering or Construction Industry a plus).

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office; Strong excel skills preferred

- Strong problem-solving and organizational skill

- Credit card reconciliation experience is a plus but not required
