Job Description: Software Developer

LOCATION: QUERETARO

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a Software Developer, you will engage in both agile and non-agile frameworks, facilitate workshops and events, and communicate effectively across various organizational levels. You will analyze the current state of the organization (AS-IS) and contribute to its transformational goals (TO-BE). You will work closely with the Markets Risk Product Team, specifically within one of the following Squads: P&L Cycle, Structural Data, Valuation Cycle, Metrics Cycle, or Capital Cycle.

Each Squad plays an integral role in the Value Chain of the Markets Risk Functions:

**Your Key Responsibilities:**

- **Develop and Integrate:** Design and develop application services and operations, and integrate these solutions with other application components.

- **Technical Competence:** Identify and address training, upskilling, or re-profiling needs to maintain technical proficiency.

- **Documentation:** Create comprehensive technical documentation in line with the Group's Development Policies and solution design requirements.

- **Software Certification:** Ensure the produced software and its components are thoroughly tested and certified according to the defined testing strategy.

- **Deployment:** Package solutions for the proper deployment of software across different work environments.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

**Required Qualifications:**

- **Experience:** Minimum 5 years in software development projects.

- **Programming Languages:** Advanced knowledge of Java and Python.

- **Technical Knowledge:** Familiarity with ActiveViam products, including ActivePivot, ActiveUI, and Atoti+.

- **Development Frameworks:** Proficiency with GitHub, Jenkins, and Sonar.

**Desirable Qualifications:**

- **Agile Environments:** Experience with Scrum and Kanban methodologies, and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

- **Cloud and Big Data:** Technical knowledge in Cloud solutions and Big Data architecture.

- **Market Risk Metrics:** Competence in Market Risk metrics like VaR, stressed VaR, expected shortfall, FRTB, and IRC.

- **Financial Products:** Understanding of financial products such as Equities, Interest Rates, Forex, and Credit.

**Languages:**

- Advanced proficiency in English
