PURPOSE OF THE DEPARTMENT:
- Firmly endorse corporation's core value of client orientated by managing diverse channels effectively and efficiently to empower the role of business support by customs clearance and related operations.
- Optimize the triangle of cost, service level and risk, to fulfill sustainable operation and corporation's medium-to-long-term strategies.
- Formulate, optimize and review logistics proposal and solutions to satisfy and meet beyond client's request.
- Actively obtain policy and market information, and continuously optimize the cost of the logistics resource system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise team to be in charge of import declaration operations (B2C/T1) of individual shipment mainly.
- Vendor management including sourcing, contracting, launching, negotiating, SLA formulating and review, including monitoring and managing brokers and related vendors to deliver excellent performance to achieved aligned KPI and SLA.
- All performance monitor related to international logistics including but not limited to cost, effectiveness and efficiency.
- Formulate SOPs for all channels to fulfill business request as well as contingency plan for abnormality.
- Maintain and develop critical relationship with governmental department, clearance community and vendors.
- Capability establishment by obtaining import license and grounding handling qualification.
- Deploy and improve compliance, visibility and productivity of customs clearance and international transportation with collaboration of technology.
- Experience with team building including but not limited to training, appraisal and job allocations.
NECESSARY TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
- Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English.
- System: Proven experience in WMS and any system related to customs clearance and international transportation.
- PC skills: Proficient in PC Skills, including hands-on application of MS office such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint with fluent typing speed.
