Position: Data analyst, advertiser análisis

Job Location: Mexico, Remote

Position Type: Full Time, M-F, 40 hrs.

Position Summary:

The Associate Customer Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data sets that support internal and external Advertiser customers in understanding the impact their advertising and promotional campaigns have on their business. This role will have access to large amounts of internal and external data and support different client initiatives from building brand awareness to increasing store visits to creating sales lift. The analyst will work to understand the impacts of various campaign decisions on promotional activity, coupon redemption, and basket data from Inmar's large collection of retail partners. They will be involved in the full lifecycle of a campaign – understanding the objectives, selecting the best measurement solutions and methodologies, defining audiences, implementing optimizations, analyzing the campaign, and building end-of- campaign reports. This role will learn to balance going deep into the data and focusing on the broader goals and strategy.


The role will collaborate closely with Sales, Planning, Account Management, Operations, and Customer Insights with opportunities to engage with our Advertising Clients. They will join at an exciting time of growth for Inmar and its digital media arm, Aki Technologies, as well as for the larger Analytics and Data Science organization, to which this role belongs. The role will develop a deep understanding not only of the ins and outs of digital advertising and promotions, but also the businesses and markets in which our clients compete. Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:


? Analytical (40%)

? Deeply understand clients' objectives, consult on campaign setup, and more

importantly, measure campaign performance.

? Analyze 1st and 3rd party data sets (including billions of rows of data) to extract

relevant campaign insights

? Become an expert in the methodology and analysis of key campaign metrics

? Partner with Customer Insights team to ask new and unique questions of the data





Technical (25%)

? Develop and/or run query routines on big datasets for data exploration, designing smaller data

marts, and building reporting tables and views.

? Design interactive dashboards to visualize the data for business users to consume and present

to the client.

? Identify new tools, ways of thinking, and processes to achieve team, client, and company goals

? Project Management (20%)

? Work with a cross-functional team of sellers, account managers, ad operations, and analytics

leads to understand the needs of your clients and ensure Inmar is putting its best foot forward.

? Manage requests and workload of multiple campaigns of various sizes and at varying stages.

? Strategic (15%)

? Develop test-and-learn strategies that will allow Aki to continue to identify unique methods to

produce even more spectacular results and techniques.

? Collaborate with internal strategic stakeholders to review the analytics portions of post-

campaign reporting, and make compelling changes to the analysis as suited for the story

considering the campaign objective.


Required Qualifications:

? 0-2 years of business analytics, business intelligence, reporting, consulting (or similar) experience;

must be deeply familiar with data, its uses, and how it's presented to the world

? Strong analytical skills with unique perspectives on how to tell stories with data

? Business acumen and intuition to create high-quality hypotheses to explore

? SQL proficiency

? Familiarity with Python or R

? Excellent data visualization skills

? Excellent communication skills

? Interpersonal skills to work with teammates from varying backgrounds to translate business needs into

analysis requirements

? Strong time management skills

? Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint / Google Sheets and Google Slides

? English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications: (Preferred but not Required)

? 2+ years of business analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or consulting (or similar) experience –

you must be deeply familiar with data, its uses, and how it's presented to the world

? Perspectives on how to tell stories with client strategy

? GCP expertise

? Intermediate skill level in Python and/or R

? Experience with Looker or Looker Studio

? Familiarity with Google Workspace suite
