Infosys is seeking a Big Data Engineer with ETL background. The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

Candidate can work currently from anywhere in the US

Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree

At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology

3+ years experience in ETL Technologies 

3+ years in Big Data/ Hadoop data processing

2+ years in Spark based development projects

2+ years in any NO SQL data stores

Python/ Scala programming ( hands on ) experience is a must

Strong expertise in SQL / HQL with Hive/ Impala experience

Hands-on experience in complex data processing and different type of big data file formats

Hands-on experience in AWS/Azure big data processing services.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Knowledgeable of Hadoop architecture and HDFS storage

Experience in Financial Services domain 

Knowledge of CI tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket

Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
