Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer position is a field-based, customer-facing role that installs, commissions, services, maintains and modifies Customer Systems' equipment at our customer sites. The Field Service Engineers will often work in a team environment with assistance from lead or senior engineers, project managers, and the field service manager, but also as required individually. We are looking for a candidate who has excellent communication skills and a great attitude.

Education

• Associate degree in a technical field or relevant work experience

Experience

• At least 4 years experience in control system design of automation and industrial equipment; Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming and machine startup/debug.
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical hardware issues;
• Advanced understanding of LabVIEW and C# is a plus. Position Criteria
• Availability to work evening and weekend hours. Frequent travel will be required by automobile and airplane to support clients throughout Mexico. Occasional international travel is likely to support global customers and visit our Corporate Facility located in Harrison, OH.
• Ability to be on-call and respond to customer emergencies. Frequent overnights, 50-75% of the time are common depending on project schedules.
• Customer service/communication skills and the ability to handle difficult customer situations is essential
• Valid Driver's License without restriction
• Fluent in Technical English to communicate efficiently with colleagues at the Corporate Facility.
