The Finance Manager is responsible for leading and supervising all accounting activities and for managing a control environment that ensures the reliability of the financial numbers shown in the Balance Sheet & income statement, as well as tax compliance. This role involves the strategic management of both financial and human capital resources.

Main responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including financial statements, cash flow reports, complying with international accounting standards and local regulations.

Identify and mitigate financial risks, including those related to currency exchange, operational risks, and ensure compliance with all regulatory, fiscal (federal and state taxes, as well as reports with the Secretary of Economy) and labor (Payroll) obligations.

Collaborate with other functional areas, such as sales, operations, and human resources, to provide financial information and analysis to support strategic and operational decision making.

Lead and motivate a team of professionals, providing guidance, training and professional development to ensure high performance and a collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

University degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA desirable.

Previous experience in financial leadership roles in multinational companies, preferably automotive industry.

Solid knowledge of tax issues (VAT refunds, federal and state tax calculations and reports to the Secretary of Economy)

In-depth knowledge of international accounting principles, global financial and tax regulations.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.

Results orientation and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic business environment.

Able to communicate in English.
