Senior Project Engineer

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be the authority for engineering projects in Electrification Smart Power in Apodaca, Mexico, making technical recommendations and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service. In this role, you will ensure successful {engineering discipline} delivery of multiple projects on time, within budget, and in line with specifications and with quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities

• Resolving technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
• Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards, as well as technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals.
• Cost-effectively executing project deliverables on time in accordance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintaining a strong network of engineering professionals and disseminating engineering best practices to aid colleagues' development.
• Creating and delivering work plans, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Developing your management skills by working with entry-level employees.
• Developing, selecting, and applying standard techniques, procedures, and tools, reporting inefficiencies, and identifying improvement opportunities.

Your background

• Bachelor's Degree in Technician, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electrical Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CREO Cad Tools.
• Knowledge of Empower, E-plan, Windchil.
• 5 years of experience in similar positions working with electrical design.
• Advanced English level.
