We're looking for a warehouse manager raw material


The Warehouse Manager for Raw Materials is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the warehouse operations related to the handling, storage, and distribution of raw materials used in the production process. The primary objective is to ensure the efficient and effective management of raw material inventory to support production schedules and meet quality standards.


Responsibilities:

  1. Raw Material Inventory Management: Supervise the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials, ensuring accurate inventory records and proper handling to prevent damage or spoilage.
  2. Inventory Planning and Forecasting: Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast raw material requirements, plan inventory levels, and coordinate replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
  3. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that raw materials meet specifications and regulatory requirements, conducting inspections and addressing any issues with suppliers as needed.
  4. Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with raw material suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
  5. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the raw material warehouse, implementing best practices and leveraging technology to streamline operations and reduce costs.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure adherence to procedures, safety protocols, and performance standards.
  7. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing the handling, storage, and transportation of raw materials, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to best practices.
  8. Reporting and Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to raw material inventory, warehouse productivity, and supplier performance, analyzing data and preparing reports for management review.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • English advanced
  • Experience in automotive industry
  • Previous experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment, with a focus on raw materials.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, supply chain processes, and logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and regulatory requirements related to raw materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
