Record to Report (R2R) Accountant

Come join our growing Finance team as we establish our newest Centre of Excellence (CENX) in Mexico. The Finance Team already has an established CENX in both Mumbai and Bucharest and with the importance of the Americas to YouGov's growth, we are now excited to create a new team in Mexico.

Reporting to the Finance Manager also based in Mexico City, this role will support the YouGov group in producing monthly financial accounts and is critical to improving YouGov's balance sheet controls.

What will I be delivering?

• Prepare month end journals (e.g. prepayments, fixed asset depreciations, intangible asset amortisation)
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts (e.g. bank reconciliation, accrued revenue, prepayments)
• Ensure intercompany accounts reconcile
• Create reporting and analysis on end to end financial processes
• Suggest and implement improvements to the financial accounting controls and processes, including the globalization / standardization of journals and reconciliations
• Support internal and external audits
• The role will be focused on the Americas, however as a global CENX Team, there will be opportunities to work on global processes and support other regions
