***On-site position at the Mexico City Office***
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting all development, execution, and communication of events across the region in Latin America: on-site, virtual, and onboard functions. Manage annual event calendar and monitor overall attendance satisfaction. We're looking for an experienced professional with passion for creating the best events working internally to coordinate logistics, communication, staffing and vendor needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, develop and execute regional event calendar across 18 countries in Latin America; average of 30+ annual events.
Owner of the annual regional event, well-known as “The Bridge”; planning, creation and execution.
Responsible to plan, execute and support all events: on-site, virtual and onboard functions (Site Inspections, Day ship visits and Seminars at Sea)
International support for other internal events such as annual conferences, themed sailings and regional events.
Creative design and branding for events.
Budgeting & Contract negotiation: oversee events annual budget for events and contract negotiations with hotels and vendors.
Support Travel Partners with event planning, details, branding and overall execution.
Co-owner of “Royal Talk” and “Royal webinars” bimonthly virtual events for the region.
Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all promotional materials and events.
Elevate and boost overall branding in tactical actions to support new sales channels.
Cross-collaboration with Sales Team and Key Account Managers.
Liaison with internal departments: Intl Sales Planning, Revenue Management, and group customization.
Work closely with AVP's Executive assistant to schedule events
Work with Trade Marketing Manager in the development of all regional initiatives
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with Events and/or Marketing.
Educated to a degree level with a professional qualification in Marketing/Event Planning
Travel/Cruise Industry is highly preferred.
Proven ability to manage and coordinate events with 20+ members.
