Job Summary:

The Finance and Administration Manager is responsible for leading and supervising all activities related to the financial and administrative management of the company in Mexico. Their main function is to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in handling financial, administrative, and accounting resources, ensure compliance with current regulations, and provide accurate and timely financial information for strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning: Develop and oversee the short and long-term financial planning process, including budgets, projections, and variance analysis. Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Accounting Management: Supervise and coordinate the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with local and international accounting standards. Ensure proper recording of transactions and accuracy of financial reports.
  • Treasury Management: Manage liquidity and cash flows to ensure the availability of funds at the right time. Conduct cash flow projections and establish strategies to optimize asset and liability management.
  • Regulatory and Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory obligations in Mexico. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure the correct filing of declarations and payments.
  • Financial Management: Analyze and evaluate the profitability of projects, investments, and company operations. Provide recommendations to improve business efficiency and profitability.
  • Internal Control: Implement and maintain strong internal control systems to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks. Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Banking and Financial Relationships: Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, suppliers, and other key stakeholders. Seek opportunities to obtain financing on favorable terms for the company.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team, ensuring their professional development and fulfillment of their responsibilities.


Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Administration, or related fields. A postgraduate or master's degree in Finance or related areas is desirable.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in finance and administration management positions.
  • Extensive knowledge of Mexican tax, accounting, and financial legislation.
  • Analytical skills and ability to make informed decisions based on financial data.
  • Excellent leadership skills and team management abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different hierarchical levels and areas of the company.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial tools and accounting software.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and ability to work under pressure.
  • 100% proficiency in spoken and written English.
