This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Aruba Services Expense & aaS Analyst

This role is on the Aruba Global Services & Operations Finance team and supports the Networking as a Service (NaaS - Aruba Greenlake) business and the professional services business.

Together with a small team of analysts you will provide FP&A, expense management and business support to the NaaS & Consulting leader.

Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company.

How you'll make your mark:
  • Analyzing Outsourced Spend and PO's
  • Ensuring affordability to Budget and providing variance analysis
  • Big Deal tracking
  • As a Service (aaS) Hardware Flash by Region
  • Supporting monthly close and Flash
  • NaaS & Professional Services cost capitalization
  • Designing new processes, automate/standardize and ensure compliance as business grows/pivots to aaS
  • Consulting with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.


About you:
  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
  • Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Excellent Business partnering skills
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
  • Forecasting experience
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, S4).
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
