Job Description

Your Partner In Fire Safety For 65 Years. BRK and First Alert are now part of the Resideo family, helping to deliver global solutions for energy management, home comfort, security, and safety.

As a Doctor, you will promote health, prevention, surveillance and assistance to employees. You will collaborate in the administration and planning of the company's health programs. You will ensure legal compliance in occupational health matters. You will collaborate in the control of IMSS cases for the risk premium.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Provide general medical, preventive and occupational risk care. As well as medical-surgical emergencies and medical care at the Electronica BRK sites in Mexico.
  • Coordinate and carry out medical examinations for new entry (physical-clinical fitness for the worker's position)
  • Coordinate and ensure the programming and execution of periodic and special epidemiological surveillance medical examinations in accordance with STPS and SSA standards.
  • Participate in accident investigation and follow up on corrective actions that apply to your area.
  • Respond to IMSS with the work risks received (ST-7 and ST-9) and maintain administrative control of all cases.
  • Develop and coordinate health and preventive medicine programs and campaigns.
  • Control and ensure disabilities due to work risks, IMSS documents and formats for the integration of information for the risk premium.
  • Manage cases before IMSS/INDEX and carry out procedures before COESPRIS, SSA, IMSS.
  • Secure, maintain and control the medication and equipment necessary to care for employees and emergencies.
  • Monitor the health of employees in control groups (chronic diseases, pregnancy and lactation, HR group, POE, etc.).
  • Schedule meetings with cafeteria managers to ensure that sanitary conditions and cleaning and handling standards, required by law, are met.
  • Keep the procedures, records and administrative controls of the medical department updated.
  • Participate in the risk analysis of machinery and operations (ergonomics and health control).
  • Coordinate the first aid brigade.
  • Participate in the Safety and Hygiene Commission.
  • Participate and support ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) projects.


YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medicine
  • 5 years of experience in Maquiladora
  • Bilingual Spanish/English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Computer skills Ms Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Mexican regulations regarding Health and Safety
  • Time availability for the second shift
