Responsabilidades

  • Develop a high performing workforce, ensuring the right talent to accomplish business objectives
  • Develop, execute, and promote talent development by creating a talent pipeline for key positions
  • Serve as leadership coach for supervisors and managers
  • Partner with site management regarding salaried employee performance management, personal development and employment decisions
  • Improve organizational culture ensuring emphasis on safety, quality, continuous improvement, employee retention and development, delivery, communication, and high performance; business needs should dictate culture and program activities
  • Manage and administer labor relations activities including negotiating and interpreting collective bargaining agreements
  • Partner with site management, union officials where applicable, and employees to facilitate trust, mutual respect and partnership
  • Lead, develop, and identify training needs for sites.
  • Provide counsel regarding human resources practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Collaborate with HR COE & manage corporate HR COE initiatives including job design, talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation, and benefits.
  • Manage talent acquisition including developing best practices for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, assessing, retaining, rewarding, engaging and managing the performance of the workforce.
  • Participate on required site level steering committees (i.e. union-management, safety, daily management, gemba, etc.)
  • Assure Legal & Corporate Compliance including conducting required training and investigations.
  • Provide guidance to employees and management on ethical issues and promote a culture of integrity throughout the organization.
  • Provide counsel regarding human resources practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Analyze HR KPIs and other employment metrics to assist in data driven decision making; manage teams data analytics accuracy.
  • Lead, develop, and identify training needs for sites.
  • Develop, update, and prepare new job descriptions and evaluations.

Requisitios

  • Bachelors degree required; Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience in a leadership role in a large manufacturing environment required
  • Strong experience in three or more of the following areas: human resources management, organizational development, change management, compensation, staffing, and employee relations.
  • Labor Relations & Collective Bargaining experience is required
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Experience in culture transformation is desired
  • Experience with LEAN and Daily/Visual Floor Management is a plus
  • Leadership within a regional HR organization that is heavily matrixed
  • Handling sensitive issues with diplomacy and demonstrating respect for people from all backgrounds
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of required processes and laws for legal and corporate compliance
