Our strategy is focused on three main users (Customer, Associate, Vendor) of our Xvantage™ Digital Platform.

This is a unique long term global investment for Ingram Micro. The scope of Business Transformation is broad, cross functional and throughout all levels of the organization. It requires defining priority opportunities with high level of organizational impact within manageable levels of investments that generate an optimal return.

To support the transformation and ongoing optimization in LATAM, Ingram Micro is creating a Digital Operations organization at regional level. This organization will support country transformations in 30 countries. The organization will support onboarding, go live and further commercialization of the platform with a focus on business, working side by side with support on the more technical side delivered by the Business Transformation Office and IT.

Position:

The Engine Leader LATAM will be a key role within in the Business Transformation Office (BTO) LATAM team. The incumbent will lead the deployment and adoption of the organization's migration to Xvantage Initiative for the LATAM region. The role will be responsible in Transformation, Process Harmonization and Change of LATAM Operational Change initiatives, working with countries to define baseline "as-is", identifying business transformation and value impact prioritization aligning on the process requirements and tracking the different adoption metrics, including both upstream and downstream interactions of applications and business models. Within their role they will drive the coordination, prioritization of key business requirements, Vendor Business Rules, in coordination with Regional & Global Platform Group to ensure critical parameters are met within product design.

The Engine Leader LATAM, will establish the appropriate Governance & Candance, through a network SME's in the region, to ensure timely communications, decisions and critical path items are actioned and executed accordingly, such as requirement sign off's, training & enablement execution, adoption metrics (financial and non-financial) etc. In addition, they will facilitate and enable best practice sharing and used cases from prior country go lives to ramp up knowledge transfer, as well as identify opportunities and synergies and bring them to fruition.

The role will be multi-facing, working closely with LATAM Business Transformation Leaders, Country SME's, LATAM & Global Platform Group Leads, Domain Knowledge Experts, Change Management Leads & GBS Leaders to align all stakeholders to the Project Plan. Through evaluation and assessment, they will foresee / identify potential roadblocks and red flags and drive solutions to mitigate risk and use the defined escalation paths with their LATAM Business Transformation & Digi Ops Leaders to conclude resolution and recovery plans to meet milestones.

Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Design, Develop & Execute Critical Path and detailed Project Plan on time in alignment with other "Digital Engines & Operational Transformation Initiatives"
  • Is the single point of contact in LATAM for business stakeholders
  • Build & Host Community
  • Builds strong partnerships with local Owners & Project & Change Managers, Business Transformation Office, Regional & Global Platform Group
  • Drive prioritization of VOB requirements, identify synergies and best practice solutions as applicable
  • Identify and leverage domain knowledge pools and SME's (Subject Matter Experts) to accelerate knowledge and understanding across the region
  • Works with Change Leaders to ensure they are equipped with context and support requirements to support changes in our business processes and organizational set up (roles and responsibilities)
  • Consolidate local requests on enhancements/improvements of Engines & Platform and prioritize development with Global.
  • Working along with associated Business Transformation leads to synchronize overall project plan and approach, milestone management, and key contributor coordination with local business.

Job Requirement:
  • + 5 years' experience in Technology Distribution management
  • Change agent attitude required, needs to have a dissatisfaction with the status quo.
  • Experience in project and or program management is a requirement
  • Ability to take on a consultant role, to present, influence, mediate and lead a very large community of senior position co-workers.
  • Experience in business plan development preferred.
  • Regional experience preferred, not required
  • Bachelor's degree required
