Research and Development Engineer

Job description

R&D Engineer is responsible for developing the next generation non-woven abrasive products; conduct lab work and performance testing, data analysis based on experimental results.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a global multidisciplinary team with manufacturing, quality and process engineering teams for new product development, from lab prototypes to production scale up and industrialization.

The job requires a self-starter, hands on person with (desirable) experience in lab environment, team player, result oriented, and with appetite to learn new areas as needed.

Key Requirements:?

• Chemical Eng / Mechanical Eng / Mat SCI, Textile Eng or related
• Master of science, Polymers or Ph.D
• Knowledge of material science, ceramic engineering and polymer technology preferred
• 2-5 years of experience working in a laboratory environment
• Exposure to experimental design and statistical data analysis
• Industrial experience (is a plus but no required)
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• US visa laser
• A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
