General Information Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Country/Region Mexico Province/City Riviera Maya Location Rosewood Mayakoba Department Sales & Marketing Job Type Full-time Permanent Job Description Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility SCOPE The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting all functions of the marketing & communications team (DOSM, DOC, Marketing Manager, Community Manager). The primary responsibility of this position is to act as the resort's CMS editor, working effectively with marketing stakeholders to create, edit, and publish content on the website. The role also assists the marketing & communications team with various administrative tasks including but not limited to preplanning of media FAM trips, organization of digital file libraries, month-end reporting, filing expenses, and management of our third-party graphic design agency.
Most important in this role is a commitment to collaboration and communication within the marketing team, as well as between other hotel departments, to effectively support all marketing & communications efforts. This position is based at Rosewood Mayakoba. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the resort's CMS Editor (create, edit, and publish content on the webpage)
Manage digital file libraries (assets, photograph, videos) for internal and external use
Work collaboratively with MarComm team to manage graphic design agency and ensure timely creation, editing, and approval of marketing collateral
Assist with preplanning MarComm fam trips or site visits, including drafting & sending alerts, booking flights, reserving accommodations, advance shipping of materials, and more as needed
Assist in development of month-end reporting materials and submit to Cluster Director of Communications
Manage communications reporting in real time, tracking media placements, updating reports, and creating clips, among other administrative duties
Support all MarComm managers with administrative tasks upon request with respect to marketing, community management, communications, and social media
Participate in scheduled sales meetings, training and other sales strategy related meetings, as required
Act as the first point of contact for MarComm team covering telephone and email enquiries
Maintain knowledge of all Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to facilitate inquiries and direct requests accordingly
Manage month end process, including invoicing (Birchstreet) and billing of department expenses
Attend sales/marketing meetings and training sessions as required
All other duties as required Skills and Abilities: Required:
Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in both Spanish and English
Knowledge of all departments of the resort and a collaborative disposition to work with all internal stakeholders
Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently
Math skills, as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required
Strong computer skills (Google Suite, LinkedIn, Microsoft, social media)
Strong ability to listen effectively
Ability to remain calm when resolving problems using good judgment
Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
Prioritize, organize and follow-up on all actions
Follow directions thoroughly
Understand guest service needs
Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
Maintain confidentiality of guest and client information and pertinent hotel data
Understanding of digital marketing principles
