Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day In this dynamic role, you will be a member of the US Gas Turbine Repair team within Service Engineering, focused specifically on combustion components. In this role, you will be responsible for dispositioning quality notifications with vendors, developing repair solutions and performing qualification measures. This team both develops new repair technologies for first time applications into our fleet of engines as well as improves the repair process of existing parts. You are expected to support R&D projects including the cost, schedule, and progress of the projects. You will work alongside other repair engineers, shops, and the global repair network, fostering a unified Service Engineering repair team. This position is to be located at the Querétaro, Mexico Core Competency Hub. How You'll Make an Impact Be a part of a service engineering repair team focused on refurbishment of Large Gas Turbine combustion hardware and other stationary components. Support the US repair development and qualification projects. Provide technical support for Quality Management of gas turbine combustion hardware, including the handling of Quality Notifications Contribute to efficiency enhancements through advanced data collection techniques and digital technology application. Direct impact on Service business success by improving customers' ability improve engine reliability. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA's) on components when they don't meet life expectancy. Provide technical support for manufacturing product and process deviations. Interfaces include, but are not limited to, Manufacturing, Field Service, Procurement, LTP, Open Market, Fleet, Design Engineering, Internal and External Customers. Collaborate with a diverse team including engineers, technical experts, manufacturing personnel, quality engineers, and business partners. Cultivate a global service approach that drives a culture of improvement and teamwork. What You Bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, or related field, with professional experience. Experience in gas turbine combustion hardware design, manufacturing, or repair preferred. High motivation and dedicated behavior Strong command of English and excellent communication skills for distributed team collaboration. Willingness to travel up to 10%, engaging with diverse teams and cultures. Field service experience understanding shop/site safety and culture.
