Description

• A Design Engineer in an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) department of a plastic automotive company is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing components or systems related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning in vehicles_
• Utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create detailed drawings and models of HVAC components.
• Working closely with suppliers to select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for HVAC components.
• Participating in prototype development, testing, and validation activities to ensure the functionality and reliability of HVAC systems.
• Continuously researching and staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in HVAC design and automotive engineering.

Profile

• Focus on design, with some testing engineering involved

• CAD Engineer - creates 3D models, 2D drawings

• Design Engineer - handles client interactions, requirement reviews

• They conduct stackup analyses, geometric tolerances, and translate them into 2D drawings

• They use PDCA, 5Ws

• Experience with CATIA V5

• English: Advanced

• Not in the automotive metal-mechanical industry
