We are looking for an experienced IT senior analyst to join our team to develop and maintain manufacturing execution system applications for our plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, experience in configuring/developing MES applications, and the ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver high quality solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop and maintain MES applications and software systems to meet client requirements and standards analyze and troubleshoot software issues to ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce coding standards and development best practices including but not limited to establishing naming conventions, requiring developers to add comments for functionality, code formatting, error handling, security, code re-use, application performance standards, version control, and documentation requirements
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.
• Collaborate with the project management team to develop project plans and timelines.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the MES industry.
• Provide Technical Support to plants as needed.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience and software development
• Experience installing, configuring/developing, and maintaining MES applications.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, and Java
• Knowledge of MES frameworks such as POMS or POMSnet or Siemens-Opcenter Execution Medical Device (CAMSTAR) or Siemens-Opcenter Execution Pharma (XFP) is a plus.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL and Oracle
• Knowledge of software development methodologies such as agile and waterfall
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with cloud-based MES solutions.
• Experience with IoT technologies and protocols is a plus.
• Experience working in a regulated environment with knowledge of regulatory and industry standards, such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English and Spanish. Portuguese in a plus.
