Senior Project Engineer

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be the design authority for engineering projects, making technical recommendations and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service. In this role, you will ensure successful delivery of multiple projects on time, within budget, and in line with specifications and with quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities

• Resolving technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
• Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards, as well as technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals.
• Cost-effectively executing project deliverables on time in accordance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintaining a strong network of engineering professionals, and disseminating engineering best practices to aid colleagues' development.
• Creating and delivering work plans, budgets and risk assessments.
• Developing your management skills by working with entry-level employees.
• Developing, selecting and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools, reporting inefficiencies and identifying improvement opportunities.

Your background

• Bachelor's Degree in Technician, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electrical Mechanical Engineer or related.
• 5 years of experience working in similar positions.
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office, Solidworks, AutoCad and CREO cad Tools is required.
• Knowledge in Electrical design.
• Knowledge in Empower, Eplan and Windchil is desirable.
• Advanced English level.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
