An important company from Canada, which is dedicated to mining machinery is looking for your talent and experience as a HELP DESK TECHNICIAN.
OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION:
You will play a vital role in providing technical support to our employees, helping them to resolve IT-related issues efficiently. Yo will work relatively independiently, using your expertise in the Microsoft suite of tools to deliver outstanding customer service and technical solutions. This role reports to the Canadian team.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email or in persona in both Spanish and English.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network related issues, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
- Escalate complex problems to senior team members or other departments as needed.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripheral devices.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of user accounts and access permissions.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar technical support role.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of tools, including Windows operating systems, Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Strong Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skilss.
- Familiarity with remote desktop support tools
- Technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) or formal IT training is highly desirable.
