General Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience working with financial reporting systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Manage, analyze, and record accounting information
• Prepare and facilitate executive reports for European Business units in a timely and accurate manner
• Accounting/adjustments/judgments
• Interact with business units' control teams and outsourced delivery teams
• Capital project accounting, including review and capitalization of construction in progress
• Monitoring and tracking of capital projects and budget spending
• Review of explanations and resolution of out-of-balance transactions
• Review of master data changes
• Preparation and review of journal entries
• Complete balance sheet reconciliation and review
• Timely and accurate financial reporting to meet the company's requirements

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or equivalent education
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
• Experience with Financial Reporting Systems and Databases (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Adaptability and motivation for multicultural teamwork
