We are expanding our legal department and we're looking for a Business Lawyer to join our Legal team LatAm. You will be responsible of keeping in touch with external suppliers, providing legal advices about LatAm region and creating new legal processes.

This position is based Mexico City, Mexico, but we're ready to consider candidates from other locations of Mexico.

What you will do:

• General legal support and research of different laws for Mexico (TNC regulation, consumer protection laws, advertising, and administrative law);
• Review and draft memos with analytical information regarding changes in the applicable legislation, development of recommendations, and necessary product changes;
• Solving claims and incidents of users requiring legal attention;
• Contractual work: development, analysis, review of different forms of contracts, participation in negotiation with counterparties;
• Drafting Terms of Usage, guidelines, and Terms and Conditions;
• Review and approval of marketing materials/campaigns;
• Drafting Terms of Use, Safety Management policies, Code of Conduct, and other applicable guidelines for users;
• Data privacy perspective, consulting on the data privacy&protection issues according to the applicable regulation
• General understanding of the Compliance (what it is, what are the main topics to be covered);
• Registration of intellectual property (trademarks, objects of copyright, objects of patent law), Contract review from intellectual property side.

What we expect from you:

• English Advanced level;
• Pro-activity, decision-making skills;
• Experience working with consumer protection law;
• 3+ years of an in-house experience in tech area;
• Experience researching or interacting with legal issues involving concurrent legislation at the federal, state, and municipal levels;
• Strong experience drafting contracts and negotiating clauses.
