The Plant Manager is responsible for building a high-performing culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence. They will strive to exceed internal and external customer expectations by developing and maintaining efficient and productive processes. Cross-functional collaboration is essential to effectively leading the team to achieve company goals. Strategic thinking and tactical agility are key to the role.
Requirements / Technical Skills:
- Education and/or Experience: 3+ years of progressively responsible related experience
- 3+ years previous experience as plant manager in manufacturing/industrial industry, quality and production
- Experience with continuous improvement or lead manufacturing with be highly advantageous.
- Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: A valid driver's license.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Computer Applications Skills: Ability to work in a Windows environment, to work with your department's business applications and with standard current computer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides strategic leadership and direction for a fast moving, customer-focused manufacturing center to enable growth and profitability.
- Works as a member of a cross-functional team including Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Continuous Improvement professionals to set strategy and optimize operational processes to ensure the continuous, on-going and cost effective improvement of customer satisfaction, processes, methods, productivity and quality
- Assures optimum utilization of equipment, raw materials and labor.
- Plans and directs production
- Analyze cost savings or cost reduction
- Responsible of communicate and overview with the Human Resources department, Quality and Compliance, Distribution Centers the balance in these departments.
Compensations and Benefits:
- 120,000 to 140,000 a month
