¡¡¡ We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer !!!
GENERAL FUNCTION
The engineer will design and engineer mechanical pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and piping systems. This position involves a high degree of latitude and creativity to solve problems in a fast paced atmosphere. The engineer will guide drafting on the creation of general arrangement drawings as well as being responsible for technical aspects of instrumentation, controls, product application, installation, and testing.
PROFILE:
· Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical, Chemical & Instrumentation from university with 3 to 5 years relevant Industrial experience.
· Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Mechanical seal support systems / Oil & Gas Filter Engineering/Seal Gas /Fuel gas conditioning systems or Gas processing plant /equipment's.
· Application knowledge in the field of API plans for pump seal system or Lube oil Consoles or Oil Lubricating Systems or Pre-jacking systems, HP-LP systems or Filtration units etc, for applications in Oil &; Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical,Power, Steel, Chemical industries
· Strong knowledge in P&ID and Instrumentation & Control.
· Ability to select and sizing of Level, Flow, Pressure and Temperature instrumentation. Working knowledge in DCS & PLC will be given preference.
· Hands on experience in PFD, P&ID and Instrument datasheets to meet various global standards, safety and local regulations.
· Knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation selection and requirements for Hazardous Area Classification and Mechanical Protection are preferable
Professional and specialist skills:
Instrumentation:
· Selection of pressure instruments (in-line and differential, direct and diaphragm pressure gauges).
· Selection of flowmeters: rotameters and pressure differentials (orifice plate).
· Selection of level measurement instruments: ultrasound, float, differential pressure, magnetic sight glass.
· Communication protocols: HART, Fieldbus.
Mechanical
Pressure vessels
· Calcs and selection of flanges, valves and accessories.
Calcs and selection of nominal diameters.
· Flow measurement units, direct, standard and normalized units.
· Selection of materials according to the process and NACE guidelines.
Softwares
· PV elite or COMPRESS
· CAD (Autocad, Solid Edge, Solid Works).
