WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SALES ENGINEER WITH TECHNICAL BACKGROUND.


As a Sales Engineer at a prominent Texan company, a leading manufacturer of drill pipe and customized casing solutions, your role will be pivotal in leveraging both your technical expertise and sales acumen to bolster revenue generation. Your key responsibility lies in comprehending the intricate technicalities of our products and services and adeptly articulating their value proposition to prospective clients. Serving as a crucial link between the sales and technical teams, you will seamlessly align customer requirements with product capabilities, facilitating seamless communication and driving business growth.

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Technical Consultation: Provide technical expertise and consultation to potential clients during the sales process. Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions that align with their needs.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, functionalities, and benefits of the company's products or services. Customize presentations to address specific client concerns or requirements: nuclear, H2, geothermal and subsea sectors.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with the technical team to design customized solutions that meet the unique needs of each client. Collaborate with the operations area to be able to develop proposals, quotes, and technical documentation as needed to support the sales process.
  • Customer Support: Serve as a point of contact for technical inquiries from clients and provide pre-sales and post-sales support as required. Address technical concerns or issues raised by customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to develop sales strategies and tactics that leverage technical expertise to win new business. Assist with the qualification of leads, preparation of sales materials, and development of sales pitches.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with clients which offer services of drilling and equipment by understanding their business objectives, challenges, and pain points. Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights and recommendations to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about oil and gas companies trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies. Provide feedback to the product development team based on market insights and customer feedback.
  • ASTM, ASME, API, NACE, EPRI, VPF conferences and round tables


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience in technical sales or a similar role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical concepts.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients or attend industry events.
