About the position:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of REGIONAL FINANCE COORDINATOR to join our team, working full-time hybrid and in charge of 6 Latin American countries.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial and work management systems with a high degree of data integrity to ensure sound management decisions can be made through standardized reliable reporting.
- Manage the financial reporting process, make and coordinating budget and forecast development, month end close, financial analysis and benchmarking, and communication of process to client and management team.
- Manage the revenue recognition process in compliance with contract terms.
- Manage team in achieving accounts receivable objectives and metrics - oversee maintenance and research on AR over 30 days past due.
- Coordinate with senior accountants on the completion of quarterly audit schedules.
- Maintain internal control processes and standards and ensure the compliance of the team.
- Review, understand and ensure compliance and proper accounting for transaction deals.
- Key financial/accounting liaison for Account Leadership and Corporate.
- Act as advisor and strategic partner to these groups for all financial, operational and client matters.
- Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly Management Executive Committee variance reports.
- Assist in the preparation of analysis and dashboard reporting for the client group, as well as Corporate.
- Support corporate finance management including annual and periodic budgeting for the JLL P&L for the assignment, monitoring accuracy of the income statement, corporate receivables, and quarterly revenue attestation.
- Coordinate with accounting team on the timely and accurate preparation of the monthly financial statement packages (including all monthly checklists, internal control points and audit work papers, as required).
- Manage and mentor staff and help guide their development (including preparation of goals & objectives, reviews).
- Help execute staff succession and growth plans.
- Assist in compensation planning process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economic or related field.
- 5 years' experience in a management position in a corporate environment, including experience in financial planning.
- Previous experience in accounting reconciliation and monthly closing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Spanish and English.
- Fluent in English level (level C1 as minimum).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
