Seeking highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, customer service and flexibility. Raw Material Buyer is responsible for entire supply chain of semiconductor raw materials, from vendor selection/setup through price negotiation, purchase order creation, order tracking, days of stock management and vendor management.

Work within a dynamic and demanding 24/7 manufacturing environment, sourcing the most advanced high purity raw materials.

Role and Responsibilities:

Raw Material Buyer role includes a combination of the following:

PO creation

Stock management for optimal days of inventory (shortage and scrap prevention)

Order tracking and followup

Local price negotiation

Identify and execute cost savings projects

Contract negotiation and revision

Forecast review and management with Engineering

Vendor selection and setup

Vendor management, including Corrective Action issuance/ and potentially site visits/audits

Management of non-conforming material through RMA process

Continuous improvement projects for systems and processes

Reporting as needed
