Job Objective

Drive sales and revenue growth, expand the client base, and meet or exceed sales targets set by the sales director. This role involves actively prospecting for new clients, nurturing client relationships, and promoting the institution's offerings to achieve revenue objectives.


Key responsibilities

  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the market reach of courses or executive programs to expand World College of Business's reach and market presence.
  • REVENUE GENERATION: Meet or exceed sales targets by closing deals and maximizing revenue from course sales.
  • CLIENT ENGAGEMENT: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • TEAM COLLABORATION: Collaborate with sales team members and support staff to achieve collective sales goals and objectives.
  • PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE: Maintain a thorough understanding of the courses or programs offered, including features, benefits, and pricing, to effectively communicate with customers.
  • SALES TRANSACTIONS: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including managing paymets, issuing receipts and updating customer records as necessary.
  • CUSTOMER FOLLOW-UP: Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfactions, address any concers or questions, and encourage repeat business or referrals.
  • LEAD GENERATION: Actively seek out new leads through prospecting activities such as cold calling, networking, and attending events.
  • SALES PITCH: Deliver persuasive sales pitches to highlight the value proposition of the courses or programs and overcome objections to secure sales.
  • REPORTING AND UPDATE COORDINATION: Keeps managment updated by providing reports on activities and results, incluiding daily call summaries, weekly plans, and monthly and yearly analyses.


Salary

  • Ranged from $10,000 MXN, depending on experience and skills, with variable salary depending on the perfomance


Experience

  • Over 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the education sector or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue generation.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, with a track record of effectively managing client relationships.
  • Experience in leadership or managerial roles, with the ability to motivate and inspire sales team members.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and achieve results in a competitive sales environment.


Required formal education

  • Bachelor's degree in education sales, business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications in sales, marketing, or a related field are often advantageous.


Required knowledge and skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of sales principles and practices, particularly in the education sector.
  • Knowledge of improvement projects relevant to sales, such as market analysis, client relationship management, and strategic planning.
  • Proven expertise in sales and client management within corporate environments, preferably in the field of education or related industries.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends, identify client needs, and develop tailored solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate the value proposition of WCB's offerings and build strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities to identify growth opportunities and develop innovative sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and decision-making tools to inform sales strategies and drive revenue growth.
  • Leadership skills to collaborate effectively with sales teams and other departments, as well as to lead change initiatives within the organization.
  • In-depth understanding of industry trends and best practices in the education sector to stay competitive and position WCB as a leader in the field.
