Tender Analyst


Job Objective

  • Responsible for researching and analyzing tender opportunities in Mexico and the United States across the business consulting and IT development sectors. They will utilize tender websites and search applications to identify relevant opportunities, assess their suitability, and determine the organization's potential for participation. The role involves reviewing tender requirements, costs, and conditions to understand the scope of each opportunity and assess the organization's ability to meet the specifications.


Key responsibilities

  • TENDER SEARCH AND ANALYSIS: Conduct thorough searches on tender websites and using specialized tender search applications to identify potential opportunities in the Mexican and US market
  • TENDER SELECTION: Review and evaluate tender invitations to determine their alignment with the organization's capabilities and strategic objectives. Select tenders in the business consulting and IT development sectors for further analysis and consideration.
  • REQUIREMENTS REVIEW: Analyze tender documents to understand the requirements, costs, and conditions associated with each tender. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to assess the feasibility and suitability of participating in the tender process
  • INFORMATION INTEGRATION: Participate in the integration of information required for tender submissions, including gathering data, coordinating with internal teams, and preparing necessary documentation.
  • SECTOR FOCUS: Focus on sourcing tenders specifically in the business consulting and IT development sectors, ensuring alignment with the organization's areas of expertise and interest.


Experience

  • Over 4 years of experience in tender analysis, bid management, or procurement-related roles preferred.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes and regulations in the Mexican and the US market.
  • Professional background or profile related to business consulting or IT development is advantageous.


Required formal education

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, procurement, law degree or a related field
  • Additional certifications or training in procurement, tender management, or relevant areas is beneficial.


Required knowledge and skills

  • Strong research and analytical skills to effectively identify and evaluate tender opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and conveying tender requirements.
  • Proficiency in using tender websites and search applications to conduct searches and gather information.
  • Understanding of business consulting and IT development concepts and terminology to interpret tender requirements accurately.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tender opportunities simultaneously.

Managerial responsibilities

  • The Tender Analyst may not have direct managerial responsibilities but will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to facilitate tender submissions effectively.
