We are looking for an experienced IT Senior Specialist of Digital Manufacturing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting manufacturing systems. This role is responsible for ensuring that all automation and manufacturing systems are operational, efficient, and optimized. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all systems comply with regulatory and industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, system integrations, with experience in industrial automation, as well as the ability to adapt to new technologies and programming languages.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing systems applications to support Digital Manufacturing.
  • Analyze business requirements, develop technical specifications, and implement software solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Configure and maintain applications, including installation, upgrades, system troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Ensure that all systems are operating efficiently and effectively, with minimal downtime and disruptions.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify requirements and integrate applications and other systems and technologies, such as IoT, Edge computing, ERP, MES, SCADA, and PLC's.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, procedures, and system documentation that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of manufacturing systems and data.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in Digital Manufacturing.


What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on digital manufacturing and IoT applications.
  • Knowledge of digital transformation and manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Python, OpenShift, and relational databases.
  • Proficiency with cloud-based technologies such as AWS.
  • Knowledge in Jupyter notebook, JSON, and Large Language Model (Gen AI).
  • Experience with ERP, MES, SCADA systems, edge computing, IoT and PLCs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment with knowledge of regulatory and industry standards, such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP.
  • Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English and Spanish.
