We are looking for an Account Manager
OBJECTIVE: Develops and supervises the Financial and Control Systems that will help achieve the Company's Objectives.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Manages the Financial aspects and establishes Objectives and Policies for the Organization.
- Prepares reports of the Financial Position of the Company as pertaining to the areas of Income, Costs, Expenditures and Profits based on Budgets and Financial Projections.
- Coordinates and authorizes the preparation of reports for Government Agencies (Local, State and Federal).
- Responsible for the Mexican Accounting System and coordinates it's relation to the Corporate Accounting System.
- Advises Management on desirable changes due to changing Fiscal Laws and provides advice on Importing and Exporting Customs Regulations.
- Makes arrangements to set up the Accounting Audit for the Company.
- Advises Management on Insurance Coverage to protect the Company from potential losses and liabilities.
- Formulates, Negotiates and Manages the Organization's Objectives and Budgets, as well as the Strategies and Action Plans to Achieve those Objectives. Validates and Authorizes Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Responsible for Selecting, Training, Motivating and Developing his/her Staff as well as acting as a Facilitator. Responsible for Managing Subordinate's Performance. Also Responsible for promoting and maintaining Interdepartmental harmony.
REPORTS TO: General Manager or to the Plant Manager.
JOB POSITIONS THAT CAN REPORT DIRECTLY: General Accountant, Cost Accountant, Payroll, Import/Export and Purchasing Supervisors, Administrative Assistant.
NUMBER OF SUBORDINATES THAT REPORT DIRECTLY: 2 to 6
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: CPA Degree.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5 years minimum as a Controller within an Organization.
LEVEL OF ENGLISH FLUENCY: 4- Advanced (Reading and Writing that allow fluid Presentations and/or Participation in Negotiation Processes).
COMPUTER USAGE: 2.- Intermediate/Basic (Use of Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc.) or Application Programs.
- Can support the Shipping Department, coordinating with Official Government Agencies as well as Mexican and U.S. Customs.
- Requires keeping current of new and revised Fiscal, Customs and Environmental laws and regulations as well as being involved with Business Groups to keep abreast of recent Developments and Concerns.
