Exciting Opportunity for a Quotation and Cost Accountant

Are you a talented accounting professional with a passion for finance and a knack for cost analysis? We are seeking a dynamic Quotation and Cost Accountant to join our team and play a crucial role in our organization's success.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for processing cost information, including sales quotations, part pricing, launch tracking, and engineering costs for exterior mirrors, door handles, actuators, and powerfolds. You will work closely with customer service teams, providing valuable support in planning, reporting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the sales quotation financial model
• Analyze and validate financial model results for reasonableness
• Collaborate with production, engineering, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure accurate quotations
• Monitor financial program performance from award to launch
• Assist sales directors and program managers in identifying deviations and initiating corrective actions
• Provide financial analysis for sales quotation approval meetings
• Assist in developing cost estimates to ensure all relevant factors are considered

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with a focus on finance
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in cost accounting or a similar role
• Bilingual in English (80% proficiency)
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of cost accounting, cost estimation, and financial ratios
• Understanding of design, engineering, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively
