SUMMARY:
The Expeditor is responsible to operate out of our order management system, build relationships with both customers and vendors, and follow up on orders to meet customers' expectations.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Expedite orders to provide on-time delivery to meet or exceed the customer's demands
• Leverages the ERP system to resolves open Purchase Order issues, work with vendors to get updated delivery timelines and communicate issues with internal business partners
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Collaborate with sales, accounts payable, operations, product management, and finance to solve issues and improve customer service
• Uses advanced technical skills to analyze data and produce reports
• Monitor and review performance to operational metrics, order processing and service level reporting
• Adhere to and enforce compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, regulations and laws
• Other duties as assigned
• Reports to the Expediting Manager
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent job-related customer service experience
English 100%
• Strong MS office (Word, Outlook, Excel) experience and data entry is required and willingness to learn new software
• Thorough, organized and systematic in approach to work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
