QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor´s degree in Electronics, Mechatronic, or Mechanical-Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years' experience in electronic products manufacturing engineering.
- Solid knowledge in Equipment and Processes Engineering (SMT, Backend, automatic and manual assembly lines).
- Lean Manufacturing, Coore Tools, NPI.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with your team members and cross-functional partners.
- Advanced English
- Analytical skills in identifying and resolving manufacturing issues.
- Prior experience in product manufacturing engineering is essential to effectively support your team and manage the manufacturing process.
- Track record of improving manufacturing processes and reducing costs.
- Must be very hands-on, good for teaching and coaching, and with excellent leadership skills.
- Good problem-solving skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key communication channel between the Engineering areas and the functional areas of Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Materials.
- Manage the Engineering process.
- Report projects, progress, activities, situations, and problems of the department.
- Responsible for maintaining clear and open communication with the General Management, to ensure that all the activities of his department are aligned with the business plans.
- Ensure that production plans are met with the highest established quality standards and at the correct time.
- Facilitate and ensure the creation of work teams for the continuous improvement of Engineering KPIs.
- Establish the goals of key indicators and periodically evaluate the performance of the personnel under your charge.
- Facilitate problem-solving strategies.
- Motivate outstanding performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the implementation of efficient engineering processes and procedures. This includes selecting appropriate equipment, tools, and methodologies to optimize production.
- Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering process, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
