About the role

The data analyst is responsible for providing data oriented information and analysis to the company. He/She is in charge of all the data and reports required and presented to the CEO and must guarantee the data quality. The data analyst conducts researches and new reports creation, working in collaboration with the data team he collaborates to the construction of an automatized data oriented company.


Main responsibilities:

 • Track company results by updating company reports and deep dive any inconsistency in the information.

 • Understand and own all data reports presented to executive c-level and ensure correct data visualization.

 • Provide quality assurance of data and reports used by CEO and executive level.

 • Provide relevant insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

 • Document data analysis to executive level to ease decision making.

 • Automatize all executive and company reports.

 • Build new automated company reports when necessary.

 • Identify business risks and issues proactively based on data analysis and escalate appropriately.

 • Contribute to supporting initiatives from data team for data integrity, normalization and automatization.


To succeed in the role you must have:

 • Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in consulting, start-up and/or fast paced environment, tech and/or fintech sector.

 • Bachelor's degree at minimum, in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science.

 • Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.

 • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide technical solution recommendations.

 • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases; Knowledge in cloud, ETLs & data warehouses.

 • Critical thinking and analytical abilities: ability to undertake research, analyze data, and apply results in problem solving.

 • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA, Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc.), and experience in SQL and manipulating large data sets in a database.

 • Quantitative skills: ability to utilize numeric data and metrics to back up assumptions.

 • Knowledge of data visualization tools.

 • Communications skills with good verbal and written skills to effectively work with teams from all levels of the organization, including leadership and cross-functional teams.

 • Interpersonal skills: must feel comfortable working under pressure and multitasking in a fast-paced and changing environment that often requires fast turn-around.


Additionally, we'd love it if you have:

 • Background in statistics methodology and experience with R, Python, or similar statistical software.

 • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.

 • Commitment to the organization's mission, values, and guiding principles.
