Job Requirements

• Education: University degree  at industrial engineering, industrial mechanic or industrial electronic.

• English proficiency, writting and speaking

• Thre-year experience.

• Experience in manufacturing companies. Specifically in the automotive sector (NOT car sales agency or spare parts automotive)

• Management of employed and unionized personnel.

• Management of PC Demis, Calipso y Minitab.

Job Responsibilities

Attend to requests made by process engineering and quality engineering.

Follow up on customer complaints, full layout studies for PPAP or prototype parts.

Provide support in line CMMs.

Review the correct operation and maintenance of instruments.

Make sure about the corretion of intrument anomalies.

Schedule calibrations of measuring equipment with external and accredited laboratories.

Select and quote accessories, equipment and measuring instruments for their replacement or to buy new Gages.

Control and repossess of tools and equipment requested by the different production areas.

Calibration programming.

Monitors operation of ZEISS and B&S machines to dimensionalise parts.

Identification and make purchase requests of lost instruments in production line.

To Manage changes, updates and dissemination of procedures.

Know, interpret and contribute to the design of the drawings production provided by the engineering area.

Make requests and assing suitable Gages for production by the drawings provided by the engineering area.

Focus on the fulfillment of the quality culture. (Kaizen, 5 s', continuous improvement etc.)

Coordinate the processes that are carried out for the development of activities of measurement equipment.

Comply with the documentation of all plant instruments. Dimensional studies (Gages by attributes and instruments by variables). 

Updating the equipment list by line.

Program and capture internal R&R attribute studies (MSA 4th version) single method 50 pieces, 3 operators, 3 attempts (where applicable).

Schedule dimensional studies (Gages by attributes and instruments by variables). 

Train operational personnel by the use, handling and care of measurement equipment.

Generate visual aids for the use of measured instruments.

Responsible for ordering measurement equipment for new projects. Including masters.
