Position Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Leader to join the existing Industrial Air Quality Business Unit team in our Power & Industrial (P&I) Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for develop and increase the supply chain in the Americas region to support the increased volume of equipment, better lead times, and better cost positions to drive the growth of the Industrial Air Quality business in terms of revenue and gross margin. This is a leadership role and is a full region role, responsible for all the Americas. The Supply Chain Leader must set up a plan and strategy to find, negotiate, and improve suppliers and then execute that plan utilizing a team of people who are not direct reports. The position will ultimately have direct reports in both US and Mexico.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop a robust, high quality, highly dependable, cost effective supply chain to deliver Industrial Air Quality Equipment in both the US and Mexico. This includes fabrication options, assembly options, component suppliers, and ancillary equipment suppliers.
  • Find, negotiate, set up, and monitor supply base. Measure supply base on safety, quality, delivery, and cost effective KPI's. Have and execute improvement plans with the supply base to deliver the growth and margin required by the business.
  • Feed back and support correction of issues or of improvement ideas from suppliers to allow improvement of KPI's.
  • Work with sales, product, and execution teams to grow and improve the supply chain to support business growth.
  • Be an active member of the IAQ Americas leadership team, supporting and improving business performance, personnel growth, and team engagement in all locations.

Education, Qualifications and Affiliations

Essential
  • Bachelor's degree in associated field required.
  • English spoken, written, reading & listening (medium - high level)

Experience

Essential

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment relying on large group of sub-component and assembly suppliers.

• At least 5 years in a leadership role, working with a local or regional leadership team.

• Experience working with global teams. Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia

• Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.

• Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.

• Effective problem - solving, quantitative and business analysis skills, as well as mediation skills.

• Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others.

• Proficiency with office computer equipment and software.

• Demonstrated ability to multi - task and work in a fast - paced office setting.

Licenses or Certifications
  • Driver license
  • Passport and visa required: Travel to US will be required for role.
