Job Description Honeywell Buildings Automation (BA) is looking for a talented Sr. Advanced Embedded Systems Engineer who will design and develop embedded software for Security Intrusion Detection devices, in different software layers, from firmware to embedded applications as well as develop tools for internal use. You will participate in the design, development, test and evaluation of the prototypes from initial engineering samples to mass production. Also, you will aid in the design and development of new devices to retrofit existing systems to fulfill the needs of Honeywell's customers. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, code, test and debug embedded Linux systems. • Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production • Communicate effectively and collaborate with global teams for embedded systems design and development. • Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of embedded systems resources. • Review code, identify patterns and code structure, modify it for bug fixes and new requirements. • Deriving hardware design requirements from system-level specifications. • Estimating hardware design tasks, identifying risks and planning development. • Assist and support Mech and EE CAD teams or design teams in schematic designs and PCB layout developments. • Assess third-party software.
