As a Territory Manager specializing in Sports Medicine within the operating room, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell ground breaking medical devices, equipment, or technology used specifically for arthroscopic surgical procedures. You'll work closely with surgical teams, orthopedic surgeons, and hospital staff to ensure the adoption and utilization of innovative sports medicine solutions.
What you will be doing?
Product Management: Identify, promote, and sell specialized medical devices and equipment used in surgical procedures for sports-related injuries, including implants, specialized surgical tools, fixation devices and equipment
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, and operating room staff involved in sports injury-related surgeries
Training and Technical Support: Provide comprehensive training to medical teams on the usage of sports medicine devices and offer ongoing technical support to ensure optimal utilization during surgical procedures
Market Analysis and Innovation: Stay on top of technological advancements in sports medicine, analyze market trends, and provide recommendations to adapt products to meet the evolving needs of surgeons and patients
Sales Management: Handle the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure
Tenders Management: Manage the tender process in collaboration with the product specialist, the national sales manager and the tender team
What will you need to be successful?
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in health sciences, business, or a related field
Fluent Dutch, and good level of English language
Confirmed experience in medical device sales, medical technology, or a related field, preferably within the sports medicine or orthopedic surgery domain
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain lasting professional relationships
In-depth understanding of the specific needs of surgeons and operating room protocols in the context of sports medicine
Ability to comprehend and convey technical information clearly and persuasively
Ability to plan the work independently and at identifying priorities in the sector
Working Conditions:
Mobility required for field visits, especially to engage with surgeons and healthcare professionals (driving license needed)
