Last Mile Warehouse and distribution manager (Operations)

The Last Mile Warehouse and distribution manager (Operations) is responsible for leading and optimizing all operations related to inventory and product assortment, as well as a part a part of the distribution

This position is focused on the company's efficiency, accuracy and customer satisfaction through:

Inventory Management

• Design strategies to optimize inventory control procedures
• Ensures inventory accuracy and effectiveness
• Monitor material supply levels to prevent shortages
• Ensure product stocks are adequate for all company distribution channels
• Collaborate with the Supply Area (Purchasing, Planning, Customer Service, Operation, Cost of Serving) and with the Distribution Centers and to align the distribution strategy with corporate objectives

Warehouse and Operations

• Monitor the flow of products from the warehouse to the customer
• Coordinate delivery routes, schedules and resources to optimize efficiency
• Direct and supervise daily distribution operations, ensuring compliance with delivery times and customer satisfaction
• Implement and continually improve routing systems and delivery areas to optimize efficiency and reduce delivery times

 Qualifications

• Previous experience of at least 15 years in warehouse management and last mile distribution, retail and e-commerce
• High level of WMS usage/Desirable implementation
• Focus on process systematization
• Ability to deal with ambiguity
• Very high level of experience for floor level operations
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to deal with changing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to successfully develop others into higher levels of leadership in an organization
