Descripción

Lead Commodity procurement projects and managing all sourcing activities at XSBG level as per business requirement, also drive cost savings and cost avoidance through negotiating better price and payment terms. You will identify sourcing opportunities either by collecting business requests from SBG/SBUs or driving new initiatives for supply chain cost effectiveness and then manage sourcing projects with productivity improvement or cash flow optimization. you will effectively communicate with stakeholder and supplier, manage the close loop of sourcing, procurement and fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

  • ?Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for Project Direct Material business, addressing all Procurement-related inquiries and challenges.
  • Serve as the POC for Procurement Security, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Manage frontline Supplier Management, overseeing supplier relationships and performance.
  • Supervise buyers' execution and performance, including managing POs, ASN compliance, and mitigating changes in PPVs (Purchase Price Variance).
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to the site and manage supplier lead times effectively.
  • Collaborate with material planners to enable scheduling changes and deliver accurate forecasts to suppliers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, Risk Management, and Business Unit partners on commercial issues, terms, conditions, and specifications.
  • Ensure alignment of purchased materials with operational needs, focusing on cost, quality, and timeliness of delivery to maintain continuity of supply.
  • Manage ordering of materials and components due to changes in customer demand, inventory discrepancies, or rejects to support efficient production lines.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Own the resolution process for basic discrepancies, change orders, cancellations, and commercial issues related to purchase orders.
  • Drive initiatives such as supplier contact accuracy, purchasing operations metrics improvement, PO automation (up to 95%), and enhanced digital connections with suppliers, while participating in daily Tier meetings and operations reviews.
