Responsabilities

• Monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace
• Ensuring the business is legally compliant with all health and safety legislation (NOMs, OSHA, STPS, etc).
• Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor and improve the health and safety standards in the workplace
• Being responsible for all safety inspections and audit in the workplace and onsite
• Assisting with the creation and management of health and safety monitoring systems and policies in the workplace
• Managing emergency procedures (such as fire alarm drills) and organizing emergency teams such as fire marshals and first aiders
• Offering general health and safety advice to all employees
• Support HR activities related with STPS.

Requirements

• BA degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field
• Knowledge in mexican regulations (NOMs, STPS, Protección civil).
• Knowledge in warehouse management and production plant logistics preferred
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team, work directly with the customer and with all levels of personnel is required (English and Spanish)
• Travel Internationally: Approximately 30-40% of time
