YOUR TASKS

Your job with us includes translating technical requirements into technical concepts and implementing them in a test-driven and service-oriented manner. Maintenance and systematic further development of existing components are also part of your tasks

• Planning, analysis, development and implementation of (web) applications and software modules 
• As a Java developer, you design and develop JEE applications, portal solutions and technical interfaces.
• Use existing freedom and bring your own ideas and experiences into our development and processes.
• You are designer of software strategy and together with the team, define the technical architecture of our software landscape. You take on technical sub-project / project management tasks promptly.
• You develop the technical concepts independently and on your own responsibility and present them to the team. 
• You evaluate new technologies and test them as part of proof-of-concepts, develop templates / blueprints and programming guidelines.
• Provide tools in best quality as requested by specifications.
• Participate in analyzing and defining project specifications.
• Model development for simulation projects.
• Part of a high motivated digitalization team which improve with digitalization worldwide production environment.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

• To design, develop and manage the back-end of applications and software;
• To ensure application designs conform with business goals;
• To develop technical designs for application development;
• To conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging;
• To develop documentation to help users.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical University degree;
• Basic Understanding of RESTful web services;
• Understanding basic design principles behind a scalable application;
• Good knowledge for frameworks like Java, Spring Boot; Angular
• Good experience with MySQL, Oracle;
• Knowledge of J2EE and J2SE (Collections, Threads, Exceptions, XML)
• At least basic knowledge of the programming language Python
• English (Advanced)
