Import Permit Analyst

How You Will Make a Difference

The Import Permits Analyst will be responsible for filing import permits in Vucem (Customs website), which is a regulation to import footwear into Mexico. As part of this process, He/She will also make sure that Shipping and Customs documents are complete and correct to prevent errors or lack of information that could affect the authorization of the permits.

Skills for Success

• Years of Related Professional Experience: 1 year of experience processing import licenses in VUCEM (Customs website).
• Intermediate-Advanced English.
• Proficient Personal Computer skills - Excel proficiency.
• Microsoft Access preferred.
• Knowledge of import quota categories and import business in general.
• Knowledge of import regulations, carry out procedures before competent authorities.

What you'll be doing:?

• File, validate and monitor import permits in VUCEM or with the competent authorities
• Analysis of shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin) prior to the permit process
• Validation of information entered for the permit process
• Check that the translation of documents into Spanish is complete
• Review of HTS in technical Sheet vs. Proforma of Pedimento
• Support on HTS Assignment 
• Support on Customs activities related
