Job Description

Cross Dock & Logistics Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily activities related with import / export and customs operations. The specialist must follow up and provide all necessary documents to customs brokers & transportation vendors to assure expedited process thru customs and deliver products coming into Mexico. Communication and data analysis are key components of the position. 

Responsibilities

·      Follow up all import & export shipments; provide status to internal & external customers.

·      By using the cost-effective criteria support any urgent service that Mexican plants may have related with their operations.

·      Ensure clear and current communications with team members regarding procedures.

·      Relay Company communications to team members and field questions, if necessary.

·      Assist team members with processes to accomplish team goals and individual KPIs.

·      Improve and maintain Supplier relationships through effective communication.

·      Maintain and update department SOPs.

Requirements

·      2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role or related activities in cross border land import from USA and Mexico.

·      Knowledge working in import or export traffic, logistics in manufacturing companies.

·      Knowledge in OTM or Excel.

·      Intermediate to advanced English is desirable.

·      Valid Visa.

·      Availability to Travel.
